Re-recommendations appear as separate entries, and weights update automatically. All active recommendations remain in the live portfolio, even if they also appear in the year-end archive.

Every Buy, Re-Recommendation, and Sell comes with a clearly structured investment thesis explaining why the stock is being added, re-recommended, or sold.

For Buy recommendations, the thesis explains what the business does, why it’s a high-quality long-term compounder, what’s driving future growth, the main risks to watch, and why it’s a Buy right now.

For Re-Recommendations, the thesis covers what has changed since the original pick, why conviction has strengthened, what’s working in the business today, the key risks, and why the current setup makes the stock attractive again.

For Sell recommendations, the thesis explains what has changed, why we’re recommending an exit, our overall view at the time of selling, and why locking in the result now is the right decision.

The structure is consistent, so members always understand the reasoning behind every call.

Re-recommendations allow us to increase conviction in great businesses at better moments — such as during pullbacks, after new catalysts, or when fundamentals strengthen. They’re issued when a stock remains high quality but has become attractive again for long-term investors.

We issue Sell recommendations for two main reasons:

• The long-term thesis weakens. This includes deteriorating fundamentals, slowing industry trends, management issues, or a broken investment case.

• The stock rallies too far, too fast. Even if the long-term story still holds, we may sell when valuation stretches quickly, risk/reward becomes unbalanced, or the stock jumps sharply soon after a recommendation. Selling in these cases protects gains and avoids holding a stock that has overshot sustainably justified levels.

All Sell recommendations are fully explained and archived for transparency.

The archive contains every Buy, Re-Rec, and Sell recommendation ever made, organized by year. At the end of each year, all recommendations are added to the archive so members can review a complete record of every call made that year — including all Buy and Sell decisions.

Being in the archive does not mean a stock is no longer held; active recommendations remain visible in the live Dream Picks portfolio. The archive is purely for historical transparency, allowing members to see the reasoning behind every recommendation.

Dream Picks’ performance is calculated using a simulated, equal-weighted portfolio of all our active stock recommendations.

Each time we make a new “Buy” recommendation, we record the stock’s price and the S&P 500’s level on that day. From there, we track how both change over time to measure each pick’s return — and how it performs compared to the overall market.

Our portfolio assumes an equal investment (for example, $1,000) in every recommendation at the time it was made. This keeps things fair and consistent, as every stock has the same impact on overall performance — regardless of its size or price.

When we issue a “Sell” recommendation, its result is locked in and no longer affects the active portfolio. We continue to track those closed picks separately so readers can see our full performance history.

Performance data is updated weekly (every Monday morning) to reflect the most recent market results.
